Attendance Management System Project flow
- Once you run the project, click on “register new student” to register your face for identification.
- After clicking, a small window will appear where you can enter your ID and name before clicking the “Take Image Button”.
- After clicking the “Take Image” button a camera window will appear that detects your Face and captures up to 50 Images (which you can modify). These images will be stored in the folder named “Training Image”. The more images you give to the system, the better it will be able to recognize your face.
- Then you have to click on the “train Image” button to train the model and convert all the Images into a numeric format so that the computer can understand. Once trained, the computer will quickly identify the same face when shown again in the future.
- It can take some time to complete the task (depending on your system).
- After training the model click on “Automatic Attendance” and enter the subject name. Our Trained model will then use face recognition to fill in the attendance
- For every subject entered, a separate .csv file is created based on the subject.
- You can view attendance records by clicking the “View Attendance” button to display them in tabular format.
